Define’s new high-profile collaboration with Heatherwick Studio

We are proud to announce our appointment as façade consultant on the new UCB Pharma campus in Surrey, UK. We are supporting the teams of Heatherwick Studio and Veretec to develop the complex façades on the project. Our in-house mass timber expertise allows us coordinate with the structural engineer AKT II to deliver a highly integrated building fabric solution. After having worked with Heatherwick Studio on Coal Drops Yard and Google’s KGX1 campus, this project comes at a key point of Define Engineers development and is a testament to our continuous drive to turn challenging briefs into plausible technical solutions which can be brought to the market with minimal risk and ultimately to reality while protecting the client’s vision.
