Structural analysis and design of free-standing spring supported interactive art installation including detailing of components, assembly and installation. The artwork consists of 470 acrylic tubes fitted with motion-sensor controlled led strip lights. Each tube changes its LED intensity and color when human contact forces it out of its static position. Define Engineers were also involved in prototyping and materials research as well as on-site supervision and part of construction team in Black Rock Desert, NV.
